The product
  Olive oil has been produced in Crete for 3.000 years now. The ancient inhabitants of Crete, the Minoans, who  knew the beneficial properties of olive oil, cultivated and produced it in the same way as it is done today.
  The geographical and climatic conditions, as well as the special soil and prevalent sunshine of Crete give to the olive oil a unique taste and aroma, attested by the many prizes and awards it has received in international fairs and  exhibitions.
  The Cretan olive oil has been recognized as a product of top quality with unique nutritional properties.  It is recommended by medical authorities as the esssential element of a healthy diet.  It is the basis of the renowned Mediterranean, and particularly the Cretan diet, which  is suggested for the prevention of heart ailments and the maintenance of good health.  It is noteworthy that the Cretans have the lowest incidents of heart problems world-wide.
